Hotel Oregon's 42 European-style guestrooms upstairs bid immediate relaxation with luxurious chenille and pillow covered beds, plenty of reading lamps, and antique armoires perfect for holding weekend wear. Guests can select from rooms featuring private baths, or shared baths, or those with conveniently located common bathrooms. The hotel's innermost rooms afford a view of the courtyard while the outer rooms look out over McMinnville's quaint downtown neighborhood.

A back alley entrance leads intrepid wine lovers into Hotel Oregon's Cellar Bar -- a unique meld of '20s-style speakeasy and modern day wine bar. Wooden planks overhead make a rustic roof. A row of suspended colored glass shades the lighting, and eclectic artwork abounds. It's easy to forget the hustle and bustle of life here as you sip and sample. The featured drinks are Edgefield wines and vintages from the surrounding Yamhill County wineries, made all the better with an order of cheese fondue pot, ale spiked clam chowder or red wine beef stew (made with Edgefield Winery's popular Black Rabbit Red table wine). Wine tastings are available, as are bottles.
