General Description
The Vision of the Seas has been a home at sea since its maiden voyage in May 1998. Thousands of windows showcase the world's most memorable coastlines and ports. Whether you're cruising the Inside Passage or docked in Cozumel, you'll never lose sight of the reason you came aboard. The 2,435-guest Vision of the Seas has beautiful onboard amenities too. There's the very soothing ShipShapeý Day Spa, two pools, six whirlpools, and the Masquerade Theatre, which features nightly entertainment, like contemporary musical stage productions. And that's just the beginning of your cruise vacation.
Activities
Enough Options to Make Anyone Indecisive! From sunrise to sunset and around every corner, there's something exciting for you to do on a Royal Caribbean vacation. How about a workout or a relaxing massage? Better yet, try your luck at Caribbean Stud Poker, attend an art auction, or turn it on dancing in a nightclub. There are even supervised activities for kids. And on land, we offer optional shore excursions for everything from glacier trekking in Alaska to wine tasting in Tuscany. Best of all, every experience is delivered with our unique Gold Anchor Service. Other facilities include a beauty shop, casino and card room, library, photo gallery, conference room, fitness center and spa, outdoor swimming pool, indoor swimming pool (with a sliding-glass roof), six hot tubs, solarium, jogging track, video game center, shuffleboard, medical center, and shopping gallery. Children and teens can enjoy facilities, menus, and programs created with them in mind.
Entertainment
The gorgeous view isn't the only thing that will dazzle you onboard our cruise ships. See a contemporary musical stage production or catch a live band. Some guests want to sit back, relax and be entertained while others want to join in on the action. Well, there's something for everyone, every day of the week. In fact, there's always so much going on, you may find the hardest decision is choosing what to do first. Feeling Lucky? We consider our Casino Royale to be a little bit of Vegas, a little bit of Monte Carlo and a lot of Royal Caribbean fun. We've got games for all levels of players. There are onboard lessons for novice players and tournaments for the more advanced. Casino Royale is open whenever you are sailing, so stop in and try your luck!
Dining
Dining on our cruise ships is as exciting as every other aspect of life onboard. There's so much to choose from that you won't know where to start. From the delicious offerings in our main dining room, to the convenience of the Windjammer Cafý, we have a dining experience for every mood. In addition to our extensive specialty menus, all our cruise ships also offer low-fat ShipShape Day Spa menus, kids' menus, and, if you arrange in advance, kosher menus. In addition to the formal dining room, guests can grab a more casual bite in the Windjammer Cafe or take a drink in one of the many indoor and outdoor cocktail lounges.

PORTS OF CALL
Los Angeles
One of the most famous cities in the world, everyone dreams of going to Los Angeles at one time or another. A certain romance is attached to this city, the "city of angels." They will tell you of glorious beaches, beautiful women, and fabulous weather all year long, and how easy it is to meet real life movie stars. The incredible part is that this kind of lifestyle is true for many of the city's inhabitants. A region of tremendous size and magnitude, Los Angeles is a marvelous place to visit. Speaking in relative terms, Los Angeles is a remarkably new city, a cultural center unlike anywhere else.
Cabo San Lucas, Mexico
This fabulous destination is located where the desert meets the sea at the tip of Baja, the world's longest peninsula. "Los Arcos", the dramatic rock formations marking "Land's End", are a spectacular sight and the way to see them is sipping a drink aboard a sightseeing boat, a catamaran, or a luxury sailing yacht. Other tours drop by some of Cabo's resort hotels for their impressive vistas and fiestas.
Mazatlan, Mexico
If you're ready to experience some of the finest sailing and sport fishing available, then you're ready for Mazatlan. This is an exquisite seaside resort by anyone's standards. Of course, you don't have to partake in world-class water sports to enjoy Mazatlan. You can relax on one of its soft-sand beaches caressed by trade winds that are even softer. Or shop for silver jewelry and Mexican crafts in the shops of "The Golden Zone," where you can also celebrate your purchases at one of the area's lively cantinas.
Puerto Vallarta, Mexico
Puerto Vallarta has all the amenities of a classic beach resort: surf, sand and sun. But it also offers so much more. Perfect honeymooners, families and seniors alike, Puerto Vallarta offers sport fishing, golfing, horseback riding, hiking and whale watching. Boasting mountains, jungles, beaches, rivers and waterfalls, this port is completely different from any other destination in Mexico. Puerto Vallarta is a modern destination that remains loyal to its traditional Mexican roots. And that's just scratching the surface.
