This is a Bid Per Person Auction. Bid for the price you are willing to pay for a single person. When you win, you may request up to 8 people to travel at your per person winning price each. For example, if you win this auction for $50, then up to 8 people may travel for $50 each! At least 2 people must travel.

Depart via the services of United Airlines from Los Angeles, San Francisco, Portland (OR), or Seattle (or from many other U.S. and Canadian departure cities at an additional cost) to SHANGHAI, CHINA on one of the following Wednesdays:

ITINERARY


Day 1 - USA to SHANGHAI
Lift off aboard a United Airlines' wide-cabin 747 jetliner to fly transpacific, bound for China.

Day 2 - SHANGHAI
Welcome to the bustling business center of China -- Shanghai --where you're met and escorted to your selected hotel:
Superior First Class......... Hua Ting Hotel & Towers

Day 3 - SHANGHAI
Today sightseeing tour shows Shanghai's highlights: shop at emporium-lined Nanjing or Huai Hai Road, and the glories of old China in the dynastic collections of the Shanghai Museum, and Jade Buddha Temple. After lunch, visit the European-styled Bund and see a performance at the Children's Palace.

Day 4 - SHANGHAI
Today is free to explore on your own. For an additional cost, you might join our optional full day excursion to Suzhou on the splendid Grand Canal. See below for details on optional tours you can purchase.

Free day. Explore Shanghai and its many interesting sights on our optional Shanghai tour, or join our optional tour to the Hongkou district. See below for details on optional tours you can purchase.

Day 7 - SHANGHAI to USA
Pack your last souvenirs before boarding a 747 jetliner. Cross the International Date Line and arrive home the same day. MEALS: American Breakfast

OPTIONAL TOURS

Half-Day Hongkou Tour (Jewish Sanctuary)
The Hongkou area of Shanghai is well-known as the main sanctuary for 30,000 Jews during World War II. These immigrants chose Shanghai because they needed no visa or passport. The tour visits Old Jewish Shanghai, where the immigrants lived and many opened shops catering to the community. Highlight is a visit to the ivy-covered Ohel Rachel Synagogue built in 1920 by Sir Victor Sasson in memory of his wife Rachel.

Full Day Zhujiajiao Tour (includes lunch)
Drive to the picturesque water town of Zhujiajiao, known for its winding canals, arched stone bridges, and well-preserved Ming and Qing dynasty architecture on Great North Street. Zhujiajiao's quaint winding alleys retain their ancient charm. A highlight of the tour includes a traditional sampan ride on the canals. Transfers and lunch included.

Full Day Suzhou Tour (includes lunch)
Transfer to a train station for a scenic train ride to Suzhou. Upon arrival, tour Tiger Hill with its leaning pagoda and the Garden of the Master of Fishing Net. Enjoy a Chinese lunch. In the afternoon, cruise the ancient Grand Canal, as emperors once did. Take a train back to Shanghai (travel by bus if group is 6 or more tour members).

Full Day Hangzhou Tour (includes lunch)
Take a train to Hangzhou. On arrival, take a cruise of scenic West Lake, then on to Hua Gang Park. Enjoy a Chinese lunch at a local restaurant. This afternoon, tour Lin Yin Temple and Dragon Well Tea Farm. Return to Shanghai by train.

Single Supplement: Accommodations are based on double occupancy and a minimum of 2 people must travel. A single supplement of $450.00 additional is available for parties of 3 or more people when one guest is staying solo.

Maximum occupancy is 2 adults per room.

Tax & service charges of $425.00 per person additional.

All U.S. & Canadian citizens travelling to China are required to have a valid passport and entry Visa.

All reservations are subject to availability.

Fuel Surcharge Notification
Over the past several months the fuel surcharges on airline tickets have been changing almost daily in some cases. While Skyauction.com is contracted with the airlines we sell, we do not have any commitment from the carriers guaranteeing that fuel surcharges will not increase without advance notice. This being the case we are informing all of our customers that we will have to pass along any increase in these surcharges that may transpire from the time an auction has been won until the time it is confirmed by us and tickets issued. We realize that this will add additional costs to many auctions that have been won and we will keep you informed of any surcharges that have changed as we process your reservations. You will have to option to accept or be withdrawn from any auction based on an unforeseen increase in fuel surcharges at the time of confirmation.
