 8 Exciting Days in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil! Your Independent Tour begins with your pick-up and transfer from Rio de Janeiro International Airport. (Please note that flights from the United States/Canada generally arrive the next day) Day 1 Arrival to Rio de Janeiro. Meeting and transfer to your 3*** Hotel located only 2 blocks from the beaches! Day 2 Breakfast. Tour Corcovado with Tijuca Forest and Sugar Loaf with City Tour: we will start our tour with a beautiful scenic drive along Copacabana, Ipanema, Leblon beaches and Rodrigo de Freitas Lagoon, passengers arrive at the bottom of the Corcovado hill where they will embark on a comfortable train which will go along the beautiful Mountain, where the statue of Christ, the Redeemer, overlooks Rio and its famous beaches. Our tour will follow to the Maracana Stadium, one of the biggest stadium in the world. After a visit to Downtown with a stop at Metropolitan Cathedral, than we’ll drive to "Praia Vermelha", to take the two-stage car up to the top of Sugar Loaf (270m), which grants the entrance to Rio's harbor and Guanabara Bay. The first stage is Morro da Urca with 170m, with a restaurant, amphitheater and helicopter-point. The second stage goes on the Sugar Loaf itself. Includes cable car fee to Sugar Loaf. Included Typical lunch (Barbecue Restaurant). Day 3-7 Breakfast. Free Days to enjoy all that Rio de Janeiro has to offer. A seasonal surcharge of $69 per person is applicable for *November 15, 2008 thru December 15, 2008. *Now valid thru December 15, 2008 only! Offer is based on Double Occupancy however a single surcharge of $400 is available to those of you traveling solo. A Tax and Service charge of $195 per person is additional.
