The south has always been known for its grace and charm. And nothing epitomizes it better than the beautiful historic city of Charleston. This "living museum" is made up of formal gardens, magnificent plantations and stately old homes that offer a first-hand glimpse into life before the Civil War. No wonder Charleston is cited in polls as one of the top ten domestic destinations to visit in the world.
St. George, Bermuda
Bermuda's original settlement dates back to 1612, and the island's former capital is steeped in history and charm. Horse-drawn carriages ferry visitors through narrow, twisting streets, passing pastel-painted, colonial homes along the way. King's Square in the heart of town sets the stage for reenactments of 17th-century justice, which was meted out in the form of public humiliation: gossiping women took a turn in the ducking chair and drunks, Sunday church skippers, and petty thieves spent the day in the stocks. Calm waters and Bermuda's famous coral-tinted sands are the draw at nearby Tobacco Bay beach.
Accommodations will be provided in an Inside Cabin for two people.
High bidders who wish to upgrade to an Oceanview Cabin may request a price at time of submission.
Port charges and taxes are $380.00 per person
