The Historic Heidelberg Hotel and the Capitol House has been fully restored to their former state of grandeur with over $70 million in renovations to open as the Hilton Baton Rouge Capitol Center hotel. The hotel is adjacent to the Shaw Center and River Center Convention Center, is less than five minutes from the Louisiana State Capitol and only three miles from Louisiana State University. We are pleased to provide our guests with a complimentary shuttle within a five mile radius of our Hilton hotel. The third floor pool deck overlooks the Mississippi, as do the two river-view ballrooms. Full-service day spa and valet parking is available for our hotel guests. Our 290 elegantly appointed guest rooms have been designed with all of the comforts and conveniences of modern hospitality, while maintaining the luster and appeal of the original building facades. Spacious work desk, pillow-top beds, luxurious linens, high-speed Internet wireless access, dual phone lines and voicemail are all standard. The Baton Rouge hotel offers two full-service restaurants including an upscale steakhouse and a casual entertaining pub. The lobby bar is a great spot for sophisticated drinks and quiet conversation.
