DAY 1: Friday - Arrive in Buenos Aires (Flight NOT included)

DAY 2: Saturday - Buenos Aires City Tour
Today, enjoy a half day Buenos Aires city tour that reveals the various influences of the immigrants that made this the cosmopolitan city it is today. The tour begins at the historic Plaza de Mayo Square, a magnificent public space surrounded by the Government House, Old City Hall, and the Cathedral. Traveling southward, see the colorful, picturesque port neighborhood of La Boca, with its famed Caminito street, reminiscent of the streets of Genoa. Continue toward San Telmo and see the colonial houses and cobblestone streets. Finally, see the modern districts of Puerto Madero and Recoleta.

DAY 3: Sunday - Full Day in Buenos Aires
Full day at leisure to explore Buenos Aires independently. Known as the Paris of South America, the city is flush with excellent cuisine, high-end designer outlets, and signature music and dance venues.

DAY 4: Monday - Fly to Rio de Janeiro
Transfer to the airport for your flight to Rio de Janeiro. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel and enjoy the remainder of the evening at leisure.

DAY 5: Tuesday - Tour of Rio de Janeiro
This morning, drive through the city to reach Corcovado Mountain to visit one of Brazil's most historic landmarks, the Christo Rendentor or "Christ the Redeemer" statue. Situated high atop the mountain of Corcovado, the Redeemer statue is a towering 710 meters above sea level, and was inaugurated in 1931. The tour begins in Cosme Velho's neighborhood from where the cog train ascends the Tijuca Forest, the largest urban forest in the world. Enjoy the lush panoramic views. The tour continues to the São Conrado area, with a brief stop at Pepino Beach. Balance of the day at leisure.

DAY 6: Wednesday - Full Day in Rio de Janeiro
Full day at leisure to explore Rio de Janeiro independently. Among the most popular sites are the Quinta da Boa Vista, the former imperial palace complex that now houses the National Museum and Zoological Garden, and the Botanical Garden, founded in the early 19th century.

BUENOS AIRES - Dinner & Tango Show at El Querandi: $78 per person
Enjoy an excellent dinner and tango show at El Querandi. Originally a grand, colonial-era house, in the 1920s the building was refurbished with an Art Deco front and a richly paneled interior, serving for decades as a haunt for writers, artists, and students. Today, this establishment is a favorite of local residents as well as visitors and is the ideal setting for a delicious dinner and an alluring tango show. Pick up and drop off at hotel.
RIO DE JANEIRO - Half Day Sugar Loaf (2:00PM): $50 per person
Begin with a panoramic tour of downtown Rio, passing the Sambodrome and the Metropolitan Cathedral. Enjoy charming views of the traditional Cinelandia Square with its historical buildings, the Municipal Theater, the National Library, and the National Museum of Fine Arts. Via the Aterro do Flamengo, continue to the neighborhood of Urca to reach Sugar Loaf Mountain. On arrival, enjoy a scenic ride by cable car to Urca Hill for a beautiful view of Guanabara Bay and its islands, as well as the Rio-Niteroi Bridge and Corcovado Mountain. At the connecting point, board a second cable car up to the summit for a spectacular view of Copacabana Beach, Santa Cruz fortress, and the beaches of Niteroi. Pick up and drop off at hotel.
