Graced by tall shade trees and expansive green lawns, this 271-room resort is spread among 73 multicolored one- and two-story cottages on spacious grounds. Holiday Village Golden Beach Puerto Plata by Occidental opened in 1981 as the first of Playa Dorada's hotels and remains stylish and tranquil, with a first-rate casino and an adult disco for after-dark entertainment. The newest member of the Occidental family of hotels and resorts, Allegro Puerto Plata is arrayed along a golden-sand beach in the exclusive Playa Dorada enclave. This Puerto Plata resort adjoins the 18-hole Campo de Golf course; a shopping center is a 10-minute walk away.
Tranquil, widely separated cottages spread over expansive lawns have either garden or golf-course views. Rooms at Holiday Village Golden Beach are air conditioned and equipped with ceiling fans, TVs, telephones, and hair dryers. Meals at four tempting restaurants, alcoholic & nonalcoholic beverages, a wide variety of water and land sports, an activity pool, a “quiet pool,” disco, and sports clinics are among the amenities included in Holiday Village's room rate.
Stay a minimum of 1 night or up to 14 nights as desired and based on availability. January 03, 2010 is the last night for hotel stays. Single Supplement: Offer is based on double occupancy but a single supplement of $35.00 per person per night additional is available to those travelling solo. Children: One Extra Guest over 13 years is available for an additional $50 per night. Tax and service charges of $39.00 per person per night additional. Reservations subject to availability.
