Built around an original 17th Century British Fort, Fort Recovery is possibly one of the last standing and oldest completely intact Forts in the entire Caribbean. This site is one of the most famous Historical Landmarks in the Caribbean. Accented with masses of bougainvillea, oleander, hibiscus flowers, & swaying palm trees, Fort Recovery is a hub of nature and intimacy. Today Fort Recovery is a highly accredited and successful Villa-style hotel. In 2005, Fort Recovery expanded and added villas (both ground and penthouse), all with the same renown view right on the beach. Not only did Fort Recovery add on more villas during it's expansion, but it also has added a Bar & Restaurant and WI-FI Internet access now available for all of our guests.
Fort Recovery has a lovely, well maintained and safe swimming pool, surrounded by large deck with sitting areas, gardens, lounge chairs and tables. Full Snorkeling equipment is available to rent, (very inexpensive for resort guests), with all fin sizes available. Fort Recovery's small, private sandy beach is located on the calm, crystal blue waters of the Caribbean side of the island. You will not find large waves or undertow at this beach. And the snorkeling off of the coastline is superb. One-Bedroom Deluxe Suites These unique suites and penthouses on the beach, consist of luscious tropical garden patios or balcony, fully equipped kitchens, living rooms, large master bedroom and bathroom, creating an appealing relaxed environment. Ceilings are high beamed cathedral style. French Doors expose a fantastic view of the Caribbean, extending on to it’s own private sun patio, with lounge chairs. All Villas and Penthouses have free WI-FI internet access, daily housekeeping, toiletries, cable TV, digital A/C, fully equipped kitchens, ceiling fans and a welcome bouquet of tropical flowers. Stay a minimum of 1 night or up to 10 nights as desired and based on availability. Accommodations are based on a One Bedroom Deluxe Villa Suite with full kitchen. Tax and service charges of $49.00 per room per night additional. Reservations subject to availability.  |
