It is hard to believe that this deluxe Caribbean-style hotel, set amidst acres of palm-laden gardens, is located in the heart of Panama City. For delicious dining, guests relish the elegant surroundings of the renowned Portobello Restaurant or a barbecue alfresco by the fabulous pool. Business travelers benefit from a wonderful exhibition center. Leisure travelers enjoy the fitness room, spa, and the flora and fauna of the nearby rainforest. El Panama is quite close to the city's shops and exciting nightlife, but it is no surprise when guests wish never to leave the hotel's amazing private boutiques, casino and nightclub.

The hotel features 275 guestrooms and 55 suites with high-speed wired and wireless Internet access. Executive rooms include satellite television, DVD/CD players, minibars and refrigerators. Select accommodations feature nautical themes and are located near the pool. All standard rooms feature city and garden views, and include three telephones, safe-deposit boxes and coffeemakers. Select standard rooms contain separate sitting areas with sofas, tables and upholstered chairs, tile floors and Asian-style area rugs.
