Highlights
Located in Utah's Wasatch Mountains, only 26 miles from downtown Salt Lake City, Iron Blosam Lodge @ Snowbird truly is a year-round resort. The area is famous for dry-powder snow from late November to March, followed by excellent spring skiing to May, if conditions permit. The resort has 85 runs, with 3,100 vertical feet of skiing. The slopes are just a short walk from the resort. In the summer, take advantage of the resort's in-house summer recreation program, horseback riding, the new alpine slide, and Snowbird Resort's concerts, workshops, tennis, hiking, mountain biking, shops, and restaurants.
Additional Information
All units have a television and all units
except hotel units have complete kitchen
facilities. There is NO Air-Conditioning.
Bed structures and number of bathrooms are
varied, as are occupancies. Units can be
modified for guests with physical
impairments - request in advance. There
is a 24 hour front desk, 7 days a week.
Housekeeping provides mid-week cleaning
(Wed.). Kitchen service is additional.
Self service supplies, sheet and towel
exchanges available daily from
housekeeping located on the 4th floor.
There are 2 outdoor, heated, non-
supervised swimming pools. The family
pool is open in the summer as well as the
adult pool, open to ages 18 and older. The
adult pool is open to all ages in winter.
The indoor spa is restricted to ages 18
and older. The tennis courts require
fees. Medical facilities are available
on-site in the winter only. NO ANIMALS
ARE ALLOWED IN THE CANYON. A car is not
necessary. Iron Blosam is at a high
altitude, over 7,000 ft.
