Rules and Regulations for Carnival Cruise Lines

  • Minor Guests Guests under the age of 21 years must be accompanied by a parent grandparent or guardian 25 years or older in the same stateroom.
  • Infants must be at least 6 months old to be eligible to travel. Minimum age for sailing is generally 12 months for Transatlantic, Hawaii and South American cruises.
  • Ages will be verified at embarkation. Guests not conforming to this policy will be denied boarding and assessed a 100% cancellation penalty.
  • No exceptions will be made at embarkation. Pregnancy Please be advised that guests who are 24 weeks or more into their pregnancy at the time of the voyage will not be permitted to sail because of the risk of premature labor.
  • Passport Data Proper travel documentation is required at embarkation and throughout the cruise and is the responsibilty of the guest.
  • Any guest travelling without proper documentation will not be allowed to board the vessel and no refund of the cruise fare will be issued US citizens must present proof of citizenship in the form of a passport(valid or expired for less than 10 years), original birth certificate, state issued certified copy of a birh certificate from the Department of Health and Vital Statistics, U.S Mi litary ID (no dependent IDs), or original Naturalization papers.
  • US alien residents need a valid Alien Resident card.
  • Canadian citizens must present a valid passport, original birth certifica te or certified copy of a birth certificate.
  • Non-US citizens need a valid passport and a valid unexpired US Multiple Re-entry Visa, if applicable.
  • Non-US citizens eligible to apply for admission under the Visa Waiver Pilot Program, must still have a valid, unexpired passport.
  • In addition all guests 16 years of age or older, must provide an official photo ID.
  • It is important that guest names on travel do cuments (passport, Alien Resident Card, birth certificates, etc) be identical to those on the cruise and airline tickets.
  • Fly-Aweigh program Air is on request for all Fly-Aweigh bookings made within 7 days of sailing.
  • The AirSea Department will call back and advise if air is not confirmed within 1 business day after the booking has been made definite with payment.
  • Air is on request for all Fly-Aweigh bookings during President's Week, Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's.
  • The AirSea department will call back and advise if air is not confirmed within two business days after the booking has been made definite with payment.
  • Air may also be on request for other sailings not listed above, due to air availability restrictions.
  • For these sailings only, you will be notified that the air is on request. the AirSea department will call back and advise if air is not confirmed within two business days after the booking has been made definite with payment.
  • Due to limited availibility for peak travel dates, non-priced air schedules, charters and overnights may be assigned.

  • Please review the FlyAweigh conditions and restriction section in the brochure. Payments Bookings with option times of two days or less must have the payment express mailed if it is anything other than a credit card.
  • Service Charges A nominal service charge will be assessed withn 60 days of departure for the following: any cruise or vacation package changes (per guest, per change) except for stateroom upgrades or addition of services; any change from FlyAweigh to Cruise Only status and changes of Fly Aweigh cities (per guest, per change); research and/or providing copies of airline tickets or other documentation subsequent to your cruise(per request, payable in advance).

  • Name changes or additions will be allowed at Carnvial's discretion and are subject to cancellation charges and rate increases.
  • Reservations will be held until 30 minutes prior to departure without risk of automatic cancellation.
  • No refunds will be made in the event of "no shows" or interruption or cancellation by the guest after the start of the cruise Special Needs Carnival seeks, to the extent feasible, to accomodate guests with special needs so they are able to enjoy our ships and other facilities.
  • Guests who have any medical, physical or other special needs must contact Guest Access Services at 800-438-6744 ext 70025 or TTY 800-972-4386 to discuss the details of their specific special need.
  • Responsibility Carnival neither controls,nor operates,nor is responsible for th e actions of independent contractors, such as airlines, railroad companies, and tour operators or ground transporters.
  • Carnival denies any responsibility or liability of late arrival of your flight or train or for any illness, injury, damage, loss of cruise time or other irregularities resulting therefore.
  • Carnival responsility does not extend beyond the vessel.
  • You are responsible for arriving at the respective port on time for embarkation and for joining the vessel at its next port of call.
