Item DescriptionItem #: 2305398![]() Bid Per Room Per Night and Choose Your Length of Stay anytime With the opening of the latest addition to its eminent Mondrian brand, Morgans Hotel Group enchants guests with yet another innovative vision by Benjamin Noriega Ortiz, inspired by Jean Cocteau’s cinematic interpretation of the tale of “La Belle et la Bête”. With Mondrian’s design, Noriega awakens the imagination and invites guests into a fantasy that offers an escape. The hotel boasts a mesmerizing ambiance that captures the sparkling charm and romance of New York, Imperial No. Nine - a modern sustainable seafood restaurant by chef Sam Talbot, Mister H - an intimate downtown nightlife concept by Morgans' own Sal Imposimato and Armin Amiri, and 270 guest rooms - each with stunning views wrapping around the island of Manhattan, custom-designed bath fixtures, and a clever nod to the tale here and there. Inspired by Jean Cocteau’s 1946 film “La Belle et la bete”, Mondrian in SoHo evokes a provocative fantasy that translates to every detail of the guest rooms. Benjamin Noriega-Ortiz creates a seductive experience that begins from the Crosby Street entrance of the hotel and continues throughout to the “Sleeping Chambers”. The corridors leading to the rooms feature a grand carpet with a custom, rose vine design, large antique mirrors and crystal sconces. At the highly anticipated Imperial No. Nine, located just off the lobby, Chef Sam Talbot introduces his sustainable seafood concept with a 150-seat restaurant. A long bar serves as a casual imbibing spot with a selection of handcrafted cocktails by John Lermayer. The garden building at Imperial No. Nine boasts a timeless setting complemented by an elegant crystal chandelier collection and accented with potted plants and natural ficus trees, all beneath the shelter of a dramatic glass roof. The delicate, over-sized glass sculpture centerpiece, crafted by acclaimed artist Beth Lipman, serves as a reference to Cocteau’s story in which seduction takes the form of an elaborate feast, prepared nightly. Tax and service charges of $49.00 per room per night additional. Reservations are subject to availability. |

If someone outbids you, the AutoBid acts as your agent and raises your bid to the next acceptable winning bid. This will continue until your AutoBid limit is reached. In the event of ties, the AutoBid is the winning bid.
