The Cypress Nook Restaurant has a long history as the oldest German-American restaurant in Pompano Beach and perhaps in Florida, and it all starts back in 1979. Highly ranked on most social sites and numerous awards, we continue to serve the best German fare in Florida! Our property sits on one of the oldest pieces of land in Pompano Beach, which once was just an ordnary house with a small cottage in the rear and a dirt road as the entrance.
Today it still stands as it did when it was built and captures the charm and old-time essence of yesteryear. This old house has been home to the Cypress Nook Restaurant for the last 36 years. Take a look at our PHOTO GALLERY to see overhead shots taken back in 1958 of the Nook and SE Pompano Beach.
