Make a splash at our exciting Lost Quarry Pools complex, nestled into the beautifully landscaped area known as "The Gantry" - named for the equipment used to help mine limestone from the quarry in which the pools were built.

Our family resort in San Antonio features 6 pools and 3 hot tubs, including separate pools for lap swimming, volleyball, a waterslide and adults only. Whether you are looking for a place for the whole family to enjoy the cool water together or a quiet retreat away from the rest of the world, the Lost Quarry pools has something for everyone.

Golf:
La Cantera Hill Country Resort, a San Antonio golf resort, offers two championship 18-hole courses which were designed to challenge your skill from tee to green. Each course offers some of the most scenic vistas in the Texas Hill Country. The Resort Course at La Cantera, a PGA Tour stop for 15 years was designed by noted golf course architect Jay Morrish and PGA Tour professional Tom Weiskopf. Our second championship course, built in 2001, The Palmer Course at La Cantera was designed by the legendary Arnold Palmer. This 6,926-yard, par 71 masterpiece winds through the Texas Hill Country and offers the ultimate test of ability for even the most skilled player.

If you’re planning a family vacation at La Cantera Hill Country Resort, our Junior Suites offer a large open space that keeps the kids nearby and sleeps everyone comfortably. They’re equally suited to couples on a romantic getaway, who want room to lounge while admiring the views of our beautifully landscaped pool complex or the countryside’s gently rolling hills.

Natural light floods these spacious suites, which offer ample space to unwind. The sleeping area boasts one king bed for the best rest of your life—and a cozy place to chat on the phone or channel-surf the suites (2) 37” LCD televisions. The living area conveniently offers plenty of comfortable seating, including a foldout sofa bed. Throughout the suite, the decor is pure Texas Hill Country, with generously proportioned furnishings and warm, earthy tones in the style of the area’s stately ranches.

The adjoining bath is a rejuvenating retreat, with a tub and fully adjustable dual shower head, plus double-basin sink, separate vanity area, and plush bathrobes. And each Junior Suite offers all the comforts and conveniences of our standard amenities, including spacious closets, coffee maker, in-room safe, and much more.
