Enjoy live entertainment at Quinta Real Oaxaca. Soft music is featured at the bar Thursday to Saturday from 9 to 11 p.m. Or discover the Guelaguetza folkdance dinner show every Friday from 7 to 10 p.m. at The Chapel Room or The Sinks Garden. Staged in the former convent’s chapel, you will be treated to a delicious dinner buffet laden with typical handcraft markers or “tianguis.” The dances represented in the colorful spectacle are from eight different regions of Oaxaca and are performed by a recognized folk dancing group, accompanied by a traditional brass band.
Quinta Real Oaxaca features 91 rooms — each with an authentic colonial touch and most with an amazing view to the charming streets of The Historic Center or to the lovely gardens and flowers of the internal patios. Each room includes a king-size or two double beds, wireless Internet at a fee, and a safe box. Baby cribs are available for families.
