telephone, television, VCR, DVD, stero
system and a microwave oven. Maid service
is provided with fresh towels and linens
throughout the week. The resort is a
historic building. There are three floors
and no elevators. The resort does not
have air conditioning. Resort charges a
US$5 per day energy surcharge. Studio
units OCC: Max 2/Pri 2 have 1 bath and 1
queen bed. 1BR units OCC: Max 4/Pri 2
have 1 bath, 1 queen bed and 1 sleep
sofa. There are no unit upgrades
possible. No pets are allowed. A car is
not recommended. If you are bringing your
car, there are several public garages
located within easy walking distance from
Powell Place. Valet Parking is available
at the resort for a fee. San Francisco
is a sophisticated metropolitan center.
Better restaurants and night spots
require coats and ties for men, cocktail
or dinner dresses for women. Resort
accepts Visa and Mastercard, but does
collect a service charge when used.
Resort is non-smoking. Due to fire codes,
occupancy is enforced.
