MSC Opera
Built at one of the most prestigious shipyards worldwide, Chantiers de l'Atlantique, the MSC Opera was clearly designed with Italian style in mind. Elegant and luxurious, the atmosphere on board is comparable to the best of Italian hotels.
The twelve decks of the MSC Opera contain every amenity for the enjoyment of our guests including a state-of-the-art fitness center, full-service spa and salon, tennis and volleyball courts, jogging track, golf course, two swimming pools and whirlpools, shopping gallery, multiple restaurants, internet caf, theater, casino and night club.
The MSC Opera lives up to her name. Classic. Grand. Opulent. Just like an opera should be. A true sense of grandeur and spaciousness prevails both inside and out. The many cabins, some with private balconies, are roomy and comfortable. The public areas feature a sweeping marble reception area and airy open spaces with walls of windows overlooking sprawling decks. On board the MSC Opera, you will have the elegance, style and luxury of the Mediterranean throughout your voyage.
Pampering
Time is the greatest luxury and on board an MSC ship, life goes at your pace. Whatever your definition of relaxation, an MSC Italian Cruise is your getaway to bliss. Sleep in or wake up early. Stroll around the deck or run on the jogging track. Get refreshed with a swim in one of the pools or relax your body and mind in the jacuzzi. Workout at the gym or sweat it out to one of the many aerobic and step classes offered on board. Treat yourself to a visit to the spa for a massage or a sauna.
Join in a game of cards, table tennis or shuffleboard or, if you're up for it, play a game of tennis or volleyball. Stretch out underneath the warm Mediterranean sun with a good book from the ship's library or catch up on the news from home with our daily Satellite News Review. Sip tropical drinks and lounge on a deck chair with new friends or browse through the duty free shops. If you're feeling tired, take an afternoon nap--a siesta is the Mediterranean way to restore your energy for the night ahead. Whatever you chose, there's always plenty to do
Tastes
Close your eyes and think of Italy. One of the first images that comes to mind is the cuccina for which Italy is known. On an MSC Italian Cruise you will experience the flavors and aromas of authentic Italian cuisine equal to those of fine restaurants. Try an appetizer of melon and prosciutto crudo, a pineapple "gondola" or true Italian salami. Enjoy our signature pasta dishes ranging from Dumplings "Sorrento" and Fettucine Alfredo to Linguini with Clams or Pesto. Experience the rich flavors of garlic, basil, olives, spicy red pepper and tomatoes in our traditional family-recipe sauces. Don't overlook the popular seafaring favorites--appetizers of shrimp cocktail and smoked salmon and entrees of lobster and fresh fish. Or, if you prefer, try our filet mignon or prime rib, grilled to perfection. Afterwards, you'll have difficulty choosing from the large array of desserts--classic Italian treats of tiramisu and cannolis to your favorite cakes, cookies, pies and tarts della mama!
Wine connoisseurs will savor the selections presented or you might prefer to cap dinner off with a cappuccino or espresso. If you're celebrating a honeymoon, birthday or anniversary do it in style with a cake, some bubbly and an Italian serenade. Just let the Maitre'D know beforehand and he'll take care of the rest. Throughout your voyage you can dine al fresco at the informal on-deck buffets, choose to dress up or stay casual for evening dinner and then stop by the midnight buffet for a late night snack.

San Juan
Distinctively Spanish in flavor, San Juan is an intriguing blend of old and new. You'll be drawn to the open air markets and authentic Spanish restaurants that share the city with lively, modern casinos. Fort El Morro once protected San Juan and now offers a commanding view of the charming of section.
La Romana, Dominican Republic
Located in the southeastern tip of the Dominican Republic and 60 miles east of Santo Domingo This city was built by the sugar mills before it started to blossom as a resort area About 1 mile from the famous Casa de Campo Resort this small city has some of the finest golf courses found in the Caribbean White sand beaches in La Romana are also one of the city's main attractions.
Cayo Levantado, Dominican Republic
Words fail to describe the beaches rimming Cayo Levantado, a small atoll in the middle of Baha de Samana's calm waters. This islet could be the Dominican Republic's most romantic hideaway, and judging from the dreamy looks of the couples here, you won't get an argument from them. To get there, venture over to the hillside port city of Samana. Hop on the sometimes scheduled ferries or any itinerant fishing boat for the short 30-minute hour ride over the waves, and make sure you close your mouth while taking in the scenery.
Funchal, Madeira, Portugal
This city is the capital of the island of Madeira. Funchal, where rows of white houses climb the hillsides, is comprised of three distinct sections. The Old Zone, or Old Town, on the east side boasts historic architecture. The west side is the "touristy" hotel area, with attractions like the Casino Gardens, Quinta das Cruzes Museum and bustling Carriera Street. Between the two you'll find the city center, which brims with museums such as the Madeira Wine Institute.
.
Malaga, Spain
Malaga is a peaceful port on Spain's famous Costa del Sol. Visitors can spend time in the seaside cafes and stroll the palm-lined waterfront. The Moorish fortresses and the Museo de Bellas Artes, home to some of Picasso's paintings, are among the most prominent attractions here. An excursion to the interior offers views of the mountain villages of Mijas and the grand Alhambra castle
Genoa, Italy
Italy's largest port is often described as a city of layers. The lower layer is the harbor area with its ships, dance halls and bars; the middle layer comprises the colorful shops and restaurants, the opera house and the Via Garibaldi; and the upper layer is a crest of hills etched with winding roads. Most city tours visit the house where Christopher Columbus was born, the Cathedral of San Lorenzo and the largest medieval quarter in Europe.
