The Caribbean Village Playa Dorada has reopened late December 2007 after closing for renovations. The Caribbean Village Playa Dorada is a short 20 minute ride from the Puerto Plata airport on the northern coast of the Dominican Republic. Located in the heart of the Playa Dorada complex, this resort consists of 336 rooms in over 45 two-story, pastel-hued villas. CHILD'S RATE:
- Children under 2 are free of charge when sharing the room with 2 adults.
- Children ages 2 thru 12 years old are an additional +$20 per child per night at Caribbean Village and Allegro Playa Dorada.  Children ages 2 thru 12 are an additional $30 per child per night at Occidental Grand Punta Cana.
Child rate applies only if child is traveling with 2 or more adults. If child is traveling with 1 adult, NO reduction is applicable. Child rate includes tax and service charges.

Maximum occupancy is 4 adults or 3 adults/1 child or 2 adults/2 children.

Single Supplement: Accommodations are based on double occupancy but a single supplement of $50.00 per person per night additional is available to those travelling solo.

Tax and service charges of $32.00 per person per night are additional.
