In leading the Yankees to their 27th World Series Championship, Derek Jeter had a year to remember. The World Series win was his 5th, and he also passed Lou Gehrig's record for all-time hits by a Yankee. In November of 2009, Derek became the first Yankees player ever to win Sports Illustrated’ Sportsman of the Year Award. Derek Jeter has hand signed this 16x20 photo reproduction of the Sports Illustrated Cover honoring him as Sportsman of the Year. A Steiner Sports Certificate of Authenticity is included.
