The customer contacts SkyAuction.com with preferred dates.
SkyAuction.com faxes or e-mails, depending on resort preference, a "service request" to the reservation center of the resort. The service request is automatically generated from our auction software and may include statements or fields that do not pertain to the CHACT program. Please see attached service request form below for details.
The resort either confirms or declines the reservation request based on availability at the resort or the allotted number of room nights. In order to service the expectations of SkyAuction's customers, a reply is requested within 48 hours.
If a service request is received that causes the given allotment to be exceeded, the resort has the right to:
- Confirm the offer as the last reservation and close out the program
- Confirm the offer and extend additional room night allotments to CHACT
- Confirm the offer with a net rate for those nights exceeding the given allotment
Once reservations are confirmed, the customer will receive a SkyAuction.com hotel voucher with the particulars, showing paid in full. Please see attached example on the next page.
